Kendall Contributing to Child Delinquency Lawyers

Kendall Jenner’s Wild 21st Birthday Party Lands Her in Hot Water

Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday bash last November was totally epic. The party was held at Delilah nightclub in West Hollywood and was attended by a crazy amount of celebs, including Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith, and Hailey Baldwin. But the afterparty is where things got really wild.

Kendall decided to keep the party going by renting a $30 million mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Tons of underage guests showed up and were spotted drinking alcohol and partying until sunrise. Yikes. This could spell trouble for Kendall and the other adult party hosts. Like, contributing to the delinquency of minors is a serious crime.

California Penal Code 272 PC makes it illegal for any adult to cause, encourage, or contribute to the delinquency of a minor. A minor is anyone under 18 years old. Delinquency means breaking the law – things like underage drinking, using drugs, staying out all night, etc. Kendall could be on the hook for a misdemeanor if she gave alcohol to minors or encouraged their bad behavior.

The contributing charge is basically there to stop adults from being a bad influence on kids. It’s meant to protect vulnerable young people from being led down the wrong path by irresponsible adults who should know better. As a 21 year old celeb, Kendall def should’ve known better than to host a rager full of underage peeps.

But in her defense, it can be tricky to enforce the rules at a huge house party full of teens who snuck in booze themselves. Kendall didn’t necessarily hand them drinks and say “chug this vodka, young grasshopper!” She prob just wanted all her friends to have fun at her bday bash – consequences be damned.

Still, ignorance of the law is no excuse. Kendall could face up to a year in county jail if she’s charged and convicted. Fans were quick to call her out online for being so reckless. “Happy 21st birthday to the new Lindsay Lohan,” one tweeted. Damn, shots fired.

Luckily for Kenny, the D.A. would have the burden of proving she actually contributed to any delinquency that went down. If her lawyer can show she made a good faith effort to keep the party under control, she may be able to avoid charges.

For example, maybe she had security guards checking IDs and trying to stop underage drinking. Or she told the kids not to drive home drunk or take drugs. As long as she didn’t actively encourage the bad behavior, that helps her case. Her lawyer could also argue that other party guests are responsible for letting things get out of hand.

If charged, Kendall would probably plead not guilty and try to get the case dismissed before trial. Her lawyer may be able to negotiate a plea deal for a lesser offense like disturbing the peace if the evidence isn’t strong. But Kenny wants to avoid a criminal record at all costs – this charge could seriously damage her squeaky clean image.

Delinquency cases involving celebs often play out in the media spotlight. Other child stars like Lindsay Lohan, Macaulay Culkin, and Aaron Carter faced similar charges for corrupting youth. Prosecutors sometimes feel extra pressure to set an example with high profile cases.

But if Kenny can show she’s a responsible young woman who just made a naive mistake – and didn’t intentionally endanger minors – the D.A. may agree to drop the charges. Her lawyer can argue she’s being unfairly targeted for her fame.

At the end of the day, it seems unlikely Kendall will actually be prosecuted. The D.A. has limited resources and bigger fish to fry. But Kenny’s lawyer will still send a stern letter urging the D.A. not to file charges. These cases often come down to discretion.

Hopefully Kendall learned her lesson and will be more careful about underage guests going forward. Her 21st birthday blowout sure made some wild headlines! But as long as Kenny steers clear of trouble in the future, this will probably blow over without any legal action. No one got seriously hurt, and the D.A. has bigger problems than prosecuting youthful indiscretions.

Still, any adult who hosts a party needs to be vigilant about keeping minors safe and following the law! Otherwise, their birthday bash could turn into a legal nightmare. Let’s hope Kendall’s close call teaches her to party responsibly from now on. She’s lucky if this incident doesn’t come back to bite her.
